Iain spent the entirety of tuesday immersed in the English Channel for the making of the extraordinary video for next single minus ten.

Iain Archer will play some tracks from his new album " Magnetic North" and will be interviewed on Rick O’Shea’s show (2FM) this evening (17th Oct 06) between 10pm and midnight.

From Monday Iain will be travelling the UK playing some live dates firstly with Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly then with James Yorkston - whilst stopping over in Dublin for Hard Working Class Heroes somewhere in between.

With the exception of HWCH (where Iain is headling with a full band), Iain will be first on the bill so remember to get down early and don't forget to stop by and say hi!

The wait is over Magnetic North hits the shops on October 9th!

The album features some tracks you may have heard on MySpace including recent single When It Kicks In, Canal Song and Soliel. As well as forthcoming single Minus Ten which according to Iain "phrases like 'early next year' are being associated with".

In his recent blog on MySpace Iain had the following to say about the release:

"Magnetic north comes out in pretty much a weeks time which is entirely wierd for me but entirely normal for anyone else - I've had it kicking around for while now and its restless alright. So show it some love."
