Making Tired Pony record in Portland

Day 2 of the album session. I'm here with Gary Lightbody, Richard Colburn, Scott McCaughey, Peter Buck, Garret Lee, Troy Stuart and a dog called Cowboy. Tracks are coming together. Makin headway.

Band are all set up in one room - its the first time a few of us have played together, but doesn't feel like it. Its a good team. January has never felt quite as welcome.

So glad to hear it's going well and the old "team" effort is working. It would be so kool if you could perform in a small venue in Portland, just to give us a little sample. Where do you hang out locally, when you are taking breaks? Ha, just thought I would ask, no worries, I'm no stalker, but just a fan that lives in Portland and shares the excitement of great music being made here. Happy 2010 and happy to hear it's feeling good to be together recording. Di
